Year 4 went fossil hunting!
On Wednesday, Year 3 had a visit from Haslemere Museum. The visit was to enhance the children’s learning in Science about rocks and fossils.
They learnt about the rock cycle and how different types of rock are formed. The children really enjoyed handling the Museum’s extensive geology collection and sketching the different types of rocks. They particularly enjoyed learning how fossilisation takes place by making their own fossils!
